Post a Project - Posting a project with NationWideBids.com is very easy there are multiple locations where you can decide to start the process including ‘Post A Project’ on the main menu, in the Bid Room by clicking the ‘Post Project’ button and on the My Account page using the ‘Post Project’ link under Seller Activity.

Project Type– Select product or service. Products are items that are for sell or lease to businesses. For instance heavy equipment for construction, manufacturing materials, hardware and other items would be listed as a product. Service includes manufacturing, building, professional business services and other work oriented service. A Service may need to include materials and equipment typically used to provide the service such as building materials and equipment that are needed for construction.

* Project Title– It is important to provide descriptive name for your project so bidders can look in the bid room for projects that may be of interest. A good Project Title will help attract attention to your project and attract more bidders. More than one project can have the same Project Title so a Project Id number is provided to you so you can easily identify your projects in the Bid Room.

* Category– The project category allows bidders to search for projects that fit their abilities and interests. There are many types of categories and selecting the most appropriate category will attract the right service providers. If a project does not fit any of the existing categories please select Other and send us an email so we can consider adding a new business category for future projects.

Sub Category– Many business categories can be further broken down into smaller segments. For instance construction has many sub-categories including electrical, plumbing and roofing. Not all business categories have sub-categories. Select the best sub-category to get the right service providers interested in your project. If you don’t see a sub-category that is important to you please notify us so we can consider adding it for future projects.

Location– This information is provided only if a project requires the service provider to work in a specific location on-site. Many projects such as advertising and graphic design do not necessarily require a person to work on-site and the Location information should not be entered for this kind of project. Other projects such as construction obviously require on-site work and the Location information needs to be provided for these types of projects. Additional information can be provided in the Project Description or Attached Files.

* Project Budget– The project budget sometimes allows bidders and service providers to decide if a project is worth bidding on. Many service providers only seek projects with large or small budgets. By supplying this information you may find that getting the right service provider is easier. If you do not know the budget or do not wish to disclose it you can always select the undisclosed option otherwise select the budget range that most closely fits your budget. Additional information can be provided in the Project Description or Attached Files.

* Project timeframe– This is the approximate start date of your project after selecting a bid. This is not how long it is expected to complete the project. This information allows service providers and bidders to provide a proposal that addresses the starting date expectation of your project. The Project completion schedule can be addressed in the project description or the attached files.

* Bidding Close– This is the date that you will your project can accept bids in the Bid Room. This is a simple calendar selection for date you want to stop accepting bids on the project. Once your project is active you can always go to My Projects and edit the Bidding Close date and other information if required.

* Project Description– This is very important information that allows service providers to give the best proposal possible. Enter as many details as needed to fully describe your project so you can receive accurate bids and proposals. Lack of details may lead to frustrations due to project scheduling and cost o
